Pay To Play: The Future Of Twitter Is Premium

So if you have not already heard, @elonmusk@twitter.com announced that only Twitter Blue subscribers will enjoy promotions & polls on blue bird network.

Starting April 15th, only verified accounts will be eligible to be in For You recommendations.

The is the only realistic way to address advanced AI bot swarms taking over. It is otherwise a hopeless losing battle.

Voting in polls will require verification for same reason. (Elon Musk)

I honestly do not believe this will end with promotion & polls.

I suspect over the coming months Elon Musk will make standard Twitter features (such as Twitter Spaces, LiveStreaming, & even secure direct messages) & make them only accessible to Twitter Blue subscribers.

By the end of the year, I foresee Twitter becoming a shell of it’s former self, with most of it’s active users sacrificing $8 or $11 per month in order to play upon the angry blue bird social network.
